Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know before you begin — funding, admission, formats, the diploma and what follows.

01

Funding

Can I use my CPF?

The Personal Training Account (CPF) may be mobilised for all or part of an eligible programme, subject to obtaining Qualiopi certification — the condition for accessing public funding. This process is currently in progress at IFGR. In the meantime, corporate (OPCO), Pôle Emploi and self-funding options remain available.

What about OPCO, Pôle Emploi or company funding?

Employees may have their upskilling covered through the company skills-development plan or an OPCO. Jobseekers can explore Pôle Emploi support schemes for a career-change project. Eligibility depends on your situation — we can guide you through it.

Can I fund the training myself?

Yes. Self-funding is available for all programmes, including the online Academy. We can discuss payment facilities adapted to your project; simply reach out to us.

02

Admission

What are the prerequisites?

No specific diploma is required. What matters is a genuine motivation for excellence in service, a sense of discretion and a professional bearing. Certain programmes assume a first experience in hospitality, transport or protection; we assess each profile individually.

Is admission by application and interview?

Yes. Admission is based on an application followed by an interview, in person or by video. This exchange lets us understand your project, confirm the suitability of the chosen programme and define any tailored arrangements.

03

Formats & diploma

What is the difference between the in-person diploma and the online Academy?

The in-person diploma is an intensive, hands-on course built around practical workshops, real-life situations and direct correction by practitioner-trainers. The online Academy (e-learning) lets you progress at your own pace, with structured lessons, assessments and a certificate. Both can be combined to suit your availability.

How long does the training last, and at what pace?

Duration depends on the programme and format. In-person diploma courses run as intensive sessions over several days or weeks; the online Academy is self-paced, accessible whenever it suits you. Detailed schedules are set out on each programme page, and our team confirms the next available dates.

What is the IFGR diploma worth?

The IFGR diploma is a private certificate awarded by the Institute, verifiable through a unique reference. It attests to the savoir-faire of grande remise acquired during the programme. It is not a State qualification or an RNCP title — that registration is a separate process, distinct and forthcoming. Its value rests on the demands of our training and the recognition of the network within which it is taught.

How can a diploma be verified?

Every IFGR certificate carries a unique reference. An employer or partner can confirm its authenticity in seconds on our verification page, by entering that reference.

Verify a certificate
How are attendance and assessment handled?

Attendance is recorded throughout. Knowledge and practice are assessed continuously and through a final evaluation. On completion, you receive an attendance certificate and, upon success, your IFGR certificate. For diplomas, awarding follows a final assessment validated by the trainer.

04

After the training

I have a disability — is the training accessible?

Yes. As part of our Qualiopi quality process, IFGR is committed to making its training accessible to people with disabilities. A dedicated disability referent assesses each situation and arranges suitable accommodations. Please tell us your needs when you apply.

Our accessibility approach
What are the outcomes, and how does the network help?

Our training opens onto demanding service roles across our sectors of specialisation — chauffeured transport, private security and protection, and luxury concierge. Beyond skills, IFGR connects its graduates to the FFGR network and offers a pathway to FFGR membership, a recognised mark of belonging among professionals of excellence.

Sectors & FFGR membership
Are the programmes multilingual and available internationally?

IFGR addresses an international clientele and embodies a French signature recognised worldwide. The online Academy is accessible from anywhere, and dedicated sessions can be arranged abroad. Tell us your language and location: we will guide you to the most suitable format.
